Thank you for your interest in our scholarship program, the Mill Creek Business Association is no longer accepting Scholarships for the 2007/2008 school year, look for the 2008/2009 applications September 1st 2008.

Winners of the 2007/2008 Mill Creek Business Association Scholarship Program will be announced by June 1st 2008.

MILL CREEK BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MISSION:
The Mill Creek Business Association is a group of business people who own businesses in the Mill Creek Area and have joined together to create an environment that supports the businesses of Mill Creek and fosters growth and prosperity within our community.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
Since its very beginnings, the MCBA has been committed to encouraging and assisting local high school students in their pursuit of higher learning in Business or Fine Arts. For the 2008/2009 school year MCBA is offering three scholarships of $1000 each to graduating seniors of the class of 2009. Two for Business related curriculum and one for Fine Arts curriculum.

APPLICATION CRITERIA:
Applications are open as of September 1, 2008 for the 2008/2009 school year.
Applicants must:
1. ...live in Mill Creek and/or attend school at Jackson High School or Archbishop Murphy High School, and be a senior in good standing at the time of application.
2. ...be accepted to attend a full-time accredited College, University or Fine Arts School.
3. ...be planning an academic course of study in the field of business/fine arts and/or plan a career in business/fine arts.
4. ...provide:
a. Typed Application Form (downloaded from www.millcreekbiz.com).
b. Two letters of reference and recommendation from teachers, advisors, and/or local business people (cannot be a relative).
c. Copy of the letter of acceptance from the institution they plan to attend.
d. Typed Essay (<200 words) about their academic and career plans.
5. ...submit ALL materials together to the Scholarship Committee by May 1st, 2009:
